Job Title: Territory Manager

Territory: Northeast (MI, OH, IN, PA, NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to VP Sales for Independents
  • Travel territory weekly and plan travel four weeks in advance
  • Communicate travel/customer visits four weeks in advance to VP Sales
  • Fill out weekly call report complete with customers visited, pairs sold and overall meeting recap
  • Manage account based within designated territory 
    • Obtain key retailers selling reports every Monday and put together Monday recap to VP Sales and EVP/GM
    • Utilize HHBrown Power BI Reporting, HHBrown Dashboard, eServices and other reports to manage order book: Open Order Report and Widen Image library etc.
    • Fill out weekly call report complete with customers visited, pairs sold and overall meeting recap
    • Possess ability to quantify clear understanding of territory:
      • Future bookings trend to LY
      • Key item bookings versus goal
      • Current YTD and STD shipments vs LY
      • Open orders vs LY
      • Opportunities and challenges with respect to territory and specific retailers
      • Achieve quarterly sales goals and MBOs
  • Develop deep understanding of product’s features and benefits and have ability to give complete and compelling product presentations at quarterly product launches
    • Incorporate marketing tools
    • Communicate relevant selling information as part of presentation
    • Possess ability to tell the Brand Story
  • Utilize all assets within Widen Image library and POP to drive business within brick-and-mortar stores
  • Communicate weekly with customer service partner to insure execution of order book
  • Attend key trade shows within territory
  • Manage expense budget to LY and PL

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in field sales role
  • Minimum of two year associate college degree
  • 70% travel required
  • Ability to lift multiple 50 LB sample cases
  • Car with enough space for 5 sample bags 

Preferred skills:

  • Strong communication skills, Excel, PPT, Word, Basic Retail Math, Presentation Skills, Self-Motivated, Relationship Builder
