Sadly Fred Teed Passed away March 13, 2016

Fred was a life member of Two Ten and served on the board, member and president of The Boston Shoe Travelers, Member and Chairman of the National Shoe Travelers, He was also a 55 year Mason.

He also worked for a couple of Shoe companies, including Dunham and The Herbst Shoe Corp. (Child Life). What most people don’t know about Fred is he even played Pro Baseball!!!  He passed on being The President of the United States because an affiliate Presidency was much more prestigious 🙂

TEED, Fred C. of Rockland for the past 25 years, formerly of Randolph, passed away at the age of 82, March 13, 2016 after a long battle with Myastenia Gravis. Fred was born in and grew up in Randolph where he graduated from Stetson High School in the class of 1951. He was a professional baseball player in the Washington Senator’s farm system. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for the HERBST shoe company, was the affiliate manager of the Boston Shoe travelers and former owner of Sharon Bootery. Fred also worked at the Cartwright Funeral Homes for many years and was a member of the Masons. Beloved husband of Marie C. (Bogen) Teed. Loving father of Gary Teed and his wife Chong of Hawaii, Craig Teed and his wife Jan of Stratham, NH, Kenneth Teed and his wife Therese of Pepperell, Paul Teed and his companion Alyssa of Randolph, David Teed of Falmouth and Maria Teed. Devoted brother of the late Edith Strickland, Doris Rosnell, Walter Teed, Arthur Teed, Frank Teed, Harvey Teed, Edward Teed, John Teed, Shirley Cartwright, Helen Harlow, Virginia Nason, Phyllis McDonnell, and Mildred Cerullo. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St. Randolph.

Visiting hours Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a service in the Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made in his name to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
